Dear Renee, I sit for long stretches of time. In the past year, I’ve changed my eating habits, incorporated more exercise, and lost over 20 pounds. Now I want to feel better as I work. Any exercise suggestions? Any products I should buy for my posture? Help me, Renee.
Are you walking? You can do sit-ups. Sit on a ball for developing the core muscles. Buy a stability ball, brand doesn’t matter. It should be at least 75cm and you can buy them at a sports store. The stability ball helps your abdominal muscles, which are your core muscles that helps your posture.
Standing against the wall helps your posture. Stretch to your toes, do not bounce when you stretch when you reach for your toes.
Press your back against the wall, then slide down to make a squat position.
For more exercises and information, I have a ebook on Good Posture on my web site. You can find it here: https://resultsbyrenee.com/books/ebooks
Do better and feel better!
