Well Summer will soon be over and  everyone will be returning to work. Some of us have gained weight due to family reunions, back-yard cookouts, vacations etc.

Most people when they go on vacaction they leave behind their diet and exercise plan. I bet there are some folks who threw their plan into the firey grill ,hoping it will burn up.

But, you know the drill. Back to Basics: Bring your lunch to work. Add more fruits and vegetables at lunch and dinner. Eat only 6 ounces of lean meat for the day. Make time for breakfast to help keep you alert.

And yes, back to the treadmill. Take the swim suits and shorts off the treadmill and get back on. Why?  because the holiday season is coming And  you don’t want to hang onto your summer weight.

So, let get back to basics. on the treadmill for 5 days 30 minutes each time. At work, form a walking group and reward the person with the most steps. Add more fruits and vegetables to your diet. Cut back on the sodas and drink more water.
